Application
Polyester is dimensionally stable and resists solvents, abrasion and service temperatures up to 150 °C; it is the material of data plates, serial numbers and fixed-asset tags. Clear polyester works as a printed overlaminate and window.
Vinyl is flexible: it conforms to irregular surfaces, containers and outdoor signage, and with lamination it resists chemicals. Both print by flexography and by thermal transfer with resin ribbon for variable data.
Typical uses
- Data plates and serial numbers
- Fixed assets with barcode
- Electrical panels and warnings
